Teacher and Staff Appreciation- Thank You!
A huge thank you to Genevieve Johnson for planning and executing such a wonderful Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. From the thoughtful details to the smooth coordination, every part of the week helped our teachers and staff feel celebrated, valued, and appreciated. We also want to thank Genevieve for all of the luncheons, treats, and special touches she coordinated throughout the year.
We are also so grateful to all of our room parents and volunteers who gave their time, energy, and support throughout the week. You made it a bloomin' success!

Art Vistas- Thank You!
THANK YOU to our incredibale Art Vistas leads: Grace deLottinville, Bara Fatum-Sanderson, and Marte Synnove Abrahamsen, and all of the amazing volunteers who helped make the Art Vistas Show such a success. So much time, planning, and effort goes into preparing and displaying all of the student artwork, and the entire school community loved seeing what our kids have been creating all year.
We are also so grateful to our Art Vistas docents for the time, care, and hard work they put in throughout the year leading lessons and bringing art into the classrooms. Your dedication makes such a special impact on our students!

Teacher Retirements
This year, we are saying goodbye to two of our beloved teachers who are retiring after many years of dedication to education—Ms. Locker (Kindergarten) and Ms. Tchelepi (TK). Both have been part of our school community for a long time and have made a lasting impact on so many of our children.
A group of parents is organizing a special send-off for them. The celebration will be on May 15th from 5-7PM at Almaden Lake Park

Reading Lab Volunteers Needed!
The Reading Lab is a tutoring program for students who would benefit from extra help with fundamental reading skills.
We are looking for volunteers who can come in once per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) from 12:45pm - 2:00pm during the school year. Training for new tutors is provided!! Helping these new & growing readers is super fun and rewarding!
***Volunteers must be registered with the district and approved by Los Alamitos.***
