The Los Alamitos PTA is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports Los Alamitos Elementary School. Our PTA's goal is provide vital programs, supplies, financial support, and promote a collaborative relationship between parents, teachers, and administrators.

Winter Wonderland Teacher & Staff Potluck Luncheon

Please help the PTA thank the Los Alamitos Teachers and Staff with a Winter Wonderland Potluck Luncheon on Thursday December 18th!

We are asking for donations of holiday plates/bowls and utensils, as well as various food, sweet treats, and beverages.

No Penguin Patch This Year

Due to a lack of volunteers to organize and lead the Penguin Patch and in talking with Mr. Rousseau, we are not holding the Penguin Patch at Los Alamitos this year. We appreciate all who have helped in years past and wish everyone a happy holiday season!

Los Alamitos Scripps Spelling Bee – Registration Now Open!

The Los Alamitos PTA is excited to host this year’s Spelling Bee for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders! Grade-level qualifier bee will be held on January 15, 2026 at 6pm in the cafeteria. Check-in begins at 5:45pm.

Families must register by 7pm on December 19, 2025 using the QR code on the flyer or this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/W2S2QZR. Once registered, participants/parents will receive grade-specific study guides via email. The top spellers from each grade will advance to the School Spelling Bee on January 26, 2026, and the top 3 school finalists will move on to regionals.

Author Shawn Harris will be our guest on January 27th for the release of:

Shawn Harris is an award-winning creator of books for kids.
