PTA Meeting Tomorrow!

When: Tomorrow, March 31st at 8:15am

Where: Cafeteria

Join us for our monthly general PTA meeting to hear about what's happening at our school and to have a voice in decision making! You can find the agenda here. See you there!

One Last PTA Board Position!

The PTA is on the hunt for a VP of Fundraising! Do you have a gift for persuasion? Can you convince people to part with their money and feel good about it? Have you ever guilted a grandparent into buying 10 boxes of cookies? If so, we need you! Help us raise funds, rally support, and keep our school thriving—plus, you get bragging rights and eternal PTA glory!!

VP, Fundraising: This person oversees the fundraising, including Dandy Drive donations (working with the president and treasurer), family fun nights, corporate sponsor letters and banners, and Dandy Day. They have volunteers under them that organize the individual efforts, so really the position isn't so bad at all!

All positions have a time commitment of board meetings one evening/month and general PTA meeting of one morning/month on Mondays 8:15-9am. Positions vary by time commitment, but board members have sub-committee leads under them and are not responsible for planning events or programs if a volunteer falls through. Most of our current board members work outside of the home part or full-time and volunteer with other organizations as well. You do not need to be available during the daytime to help on the board. The PTA provides a lot of financial support to the school and staff and also educational and community-building programs, but can only do so with the help of parents!

Please email Carrie at carrietoolson@gmail.com for her address if you are interested in attending. Hope to see you there!

What's Up with the School Sign?!

If you’ve been wondering what’s up with the school sign—it’s not trying to be mysterious, we promise! There’s an electrical issue with the breaker, and we’re patiently (okay, maybe not so patiently) waiting for the district to come fix it. The work order was submitted weeks ago, so hopefully, it’ll be in action soon. Stay tuned!
