The Let Grow Play Club

“I look forward to the play club every Wednesday!”

“It’s better than Chess Club!”

“I love going to the play club!”

The kids agree, they want the Let Grow Play Club to continue.  We grew from 6 to 26 members during the 2024-25 school year.

Are you interested in volunteering after school once a week to give kids unstructured play time, build social-emotional, problem solving, and critical thinking skills?

Please contact Nicole Cooper @ denbag10@gmail.com for more information and to be apart of the 2025/26 Let Grow Play Club!

Thank you for your generosity!

We’re incredibly grateful for our Los Alamitos families and the generous businesses who supported us this school year. Because of you, we were able to provide amazing programs like Art Vistas, Music, Recess 101, field trips, and so much more for our students.

As we look ahead to the next school year, we’re already planning for our beloved Dandy Day event—and we’re now seeking sponsors for Fall 2025!

Below are the 2025–2026 sponsorship opportunities. To learn more or reserve your spot, please email Michelle at losalamitosauction@gmail.com.

Expect Respect Volunteers Needed

Our amazing Expect Respect leader, Ami Patel, is moving on as her child finishes 5th grade—so we’re looking for a new volunteer (or two!) to step in.

Expect Respect, part of the Project Cornerstone program, empowers 4th and 5th graders to become school leaders while promoting social-emotional learning and school spirit. From organizing themed activities and donation drives to leading flag salutes and creating holiday cards for the military, this program helps students make a real impact.

There’s exciting potential to grow Expect Respect into an even more dynamic student leadership experience—like a mini student council!

Here is some more information on Expect Respect!

Interested in getting involved? We’d love to have you! Please email losalamitospta@gmail.com.
